Default Race Gas Question

Ok so I've never run race gas in the car before only 93 octane from the pump, however want to give it a shot and wanted some advise on the best gas to run is. Car has some good mods H/C/I, D1SC, 120lb injectors, BAP, etc…700whp on just the 93, no meth. Most people I see are always talking about VP Race gas and E85 a lot, I hear a lot of mods are necessary for the E85 so not going there right now. I have a Sunoco NASCAR Fuel Center close that sells the "Supreme Race Gas" thats the 112 octane leaded gas and was wondering if any of you have ever ran this gas or if its ok that I do? And last question on the VP Race Gas they have like 50 different kinds haha give me your opinion on what you would run in my case and what you run personally. Thanks guys…

Heres the link to the Sunoco 112 I was talking about too. http://www.racegas.com/fuel/2

I like FUSE 116 or Gulf Mach 116. Both are unleaded and have a ~similar stoich to pump. I wouldn't expect to see any gains though unless you added timing to take advantage of the extra octane.

In addition to my pump tune I have a race gas tune for Sunoco 104 unleaded. Picks up good power and runs strong. In the process of doing a Fore Innovations triple pump setup with a DSX flex fuel kit.

I'm running the Runway rivalry this weekend and have been running VP MS 109 unleaded all weekend long. 109 unleaded is what the TT lambos use almost exclusively now b/c it doesn't eat O2 sensors like a leaded fuel will, and it'll make damn near identical power to leaded 116.

I always ran VP MS109 before making the change to E85.

Don't run a leaded fuel.

I use the mach 116 when I need a good sensor friendly unleaded fuel.
