Make sure you use the above part numbers from Cultrag.....as mentioned in previous post, SLP makes an aftermarket one that is far inferior in quality and finish IMHO. My buddy bought that one, but sent it back.

Default Thanks made my day!

Silly me for looking for a hood vent, I appreciate the help. 15 pages and going strong, thanks op for the great idea and the round parts big enough to break out the saw, you are the man! I'll post picks of my monterey red soon.

Default Monterey red checking in

8 1/2" from the top got it from cultrag only thing I'd recommend is to remove the foam weather strip around the edge, just trying to save you a step

Wow, your paint looks awesome. Vent looks like it was meant to be there from the factory too!

I have to ask.. what do you use paint polish/sealant/washing wise?

Bro, not that im plugging them or anything but I use Menzerna, polish, glaze, sealant and wax from www.detailedimage.com

I only shop with them for all my detailing stuff for the past maybe 10 years.

Menzerna makes good stuff.. I've got some stuff from them then some stuff from Chemical Guys too. Chemical guys has some good car wash soaps and all purpose cleaners, etc.

I need to get a better polisher though. Just haven't wanted to spend the money on a good one (still have porter cable one). No garage at the moment so haven't really wanted to spend much time keeping it looking good.. it gets dirty way too fast!

Thanks man. Nothing fancy I just use turtle wax ice soap and Jax wax liquid carnauba. I use meguiars ultimate polish.

PS that's a 60k miles paint job.
