Default TT ls7 cam!!

Hey guys

Am building a TT C6Z, RHS block, mast ls7 six bolt heads and 67/66 twins
I need a cam for this setup, something that has the crazy mid range and a screamer up top. I'll be maxing out these turbos so I want the proven/tested cam.
Any suggestions/recommendations?

I don't know. But I bet there are plenty of proven cam experts for LS engines. And Pat G is one of them.

Just my silver dollar (my two cents).

Solid roller speced by lethal performance or tick?

Lethal because they have done similar setups.

Or tick because they are my preference.

Solid roller because it seems to have many benefits over hydraulic in close to max effort stuff.

Totally agree on the statement above. This is suppose to be a forum to learn/discuss unfortunately it became a 100% business matter only.

I wanted to see what people normally use with respect to the ls7 head style & valves
I believe that these heads must be treated a bit differently.
I've heard that the TT Cam's are totally different than the single T Cam's
So... I wanted infos

I think you would like to see what cam specs are common and I'm sure someone can post up some numbers for you, but honestly every combination is different. A cam that is spec'd for your exact combination may be quite different than the norm, hence the Pat G recommendations. Taking everything in your entire setup under consideration will give you much better results than an off the shelf or widely accepted cam for your "basic" combination. I can vouch for Pat. He hasn't let me down yet and I am having his spec'd cam built right now for my new combination. Even though I sometimes question the specs, I'm always impressed with the results. Jmo.

Stock LS2 long block. ECS 1500sl, Patrick G cam and tune, ID 850's, meth, stage 1 fuel system, ARH 1 7/8" headers, ECS flip kit with cogged acc drive and 8 rib..

Have everything ordered and parts are starting to come in. Hopefully I'll have it together soon. This is a new endeavor for me. Up till now, I have always built NA and n2o setups, but I've always wanted to try fi. On my 3rd Vette but the other 2 were stock.

Shoot Patrick an email or pm. He'll take good care of you I have no doubt.

Martin @ Tick Performance

Did my custom TT cam for my LS2. Great communication and got the cam just how I wanted it.

You can also check with Vengeance Racing. They do custom LS cams as well.
