Default Rear Mount Twin Turbo Build

I originally had a ECS kit with a 2200R. It was a lot of fun but always had twin turbo in mind. So this started a few weeks ago. Custom rear mount to keep heat away from engine bay.

Precision duel ball bearing turbos 6870

LME built LSX 427

Haltech Platinum

etc etc etc...

ISP Racing owner and mechanic made a separate custom oil tank and oil cooler for turbos only.. will be sitting in the trunk of the car with 2 pumps to feed and extract.

Will post more pictures when time comes. Will also have E85 option.

Any suggestions and tips will be greatly appreciated!

I'm installing a 2200r now. I saw where you said you've always had turbos in mind. Was there any other reasons why you switched?

I really liked the supercharger setup but I love the way turbos sound and the power gains are more.

Don't the new 6870s come air cooled? I wonder how they would hold up, heat wise without oil/water cooling the bearings.

It is oil cooled. ISP racing made a custom solo oil tank to sit in truck and directly feed oil to turbos with 2 pumps feeding and extracting. Pretty genius setup.

How do you plan on routing the exhaust / cold side piping?

Having watched Lee drive, being a passenger in a golf cart driven by him is scary. You're a brave man, John.

Lee - good luck with the build. Looks good.

A ton of oval piping! Hot side will be wrapped and shielded from intercooler piping.

I'll be running 6267 rear mounted oil-less turbos, but you just put me to shame lol. Great looking car and good luck with the build. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Make sure you keep the sizes down! 2.5 inch pipe work (hot side) can support over 2000bhp! Bigger isn't always better.

Great built I love this car wasn't black ?
Can you please get some pics of the oil tank in the trunk? so no lines going from the engine to the turbos at all?

Looking forward for the update those 6870 turbos with 427ci will be nasty
