T6060 ratios for a Supercharged LS3? Z06 or ZR1?

I don't see how it's possible to mix and match 5th and 6th ratios (EG: ZR1 5th and Z06 6th) seeing as how the meshing gears are cast into the countershaft.

There are two ZR1 transmissions. They both have the same gearing 1st through 4th, but different 5th and 6th ratios.

On a t-56 they were one gear for both 5/6 that pressed onto the shaft using only one small set of splines on the end to transfer power. A 6060 has 2 separate splined gears.

I would not touch anything and enjoy it. T56 is pretty damn strong and I would worry about if it breaks. My stock t56 is going along just fine. Had a built 6060 in the garage forever now but my damn t56 just won't quit. This is well in excess of 1000rwhp.

And I was still thinking of the T56 wrong. 1-4 countershaft is one piece. 5&6 are one piece and pressed on like you said, not cast into it.

Somewhere on the forum there was a link to a awesome gearing calculator which would calculate speed and rpm from gear to gear.
If someone remembers what thread it was in it might be useful to you.
EDIT--
Just found it

And for anyone else wondering.....the ZR1 5-6 gears work out to an .80/.63 when paired with a 2.66 1st, while a ZR1 2.29 1st would work out to .81/.67. I still like the idea of the .80/.50 combo, though there would be a huge RPM drop between 5th and 6th.
