A couple of methanol questions...
I have a couple of questions regarding methanol. Any input is appreciated.
1) My car has the ECS 1500 kit and am also running the ECS alky kit. The car has been parked for about 5-6 weeks because I've been out of town a lot lately and will continue to be on the road for the next month or so. The windshield wiper reservoir is about 3/4 full of m1 methanol. Does it go bad/rust (or whatever happens to it lol) or is it still relatively safe to use in about a month or so?
2) Being that I have been out of town, I forgot one of my gallon jugs about 1/2 full of methanol in the bed of my pickup truck. With the recent rain in central/south Texas, the jug is pretty much full so I'm certain rain water got in there. Is there a way to dispose of it? Can it still be used?
Thanks!

Agree. What's in the car is fine IMO
Not sure what the best way to dispose of the watered down stuff is, though.

Windshield wiper fluid is something like 40% methanol normally.. I've actually tried using meth as washer fluid when I really need to clean the windshield. I found it does a great job cleaning the windshield. The problem is it evaporates so quick that it evaporates before the wipers get through the normal cleaning cycle.. so the last time or two the wipers cycle they're going across very clean/dry glass, which I didn't particularly love the sound of
