Yes, the "Race" system will come with....

- 12rib or 8rib SFI balancer (most will do the 12, even if they just run 8)
- Dedicated Acc. drive
- 4.5" Thick Race Intercooler with 4" outlet
- 4" Intercooler to MAF tube
- Large inlet
- Whatever blower they pick.

Nice. Wondering how the hell a 12 rib fits with the steering rack. I can barely squeeze a 10 rib belt on. Can you actually put a belt on a 12 rib setup with motor in the car in case one breaks?

Nice to see improvements still being made.

That's what I was thinking. Even an 8 rib is a pain without a lift.

Seems like an exaggeration. 8rib slide right in from my experience.. Even have an 8 rib balancer on my personal car and didn't notice it being any more difficult than stock..

I could see the 10rib being more of a pain...

Interested in seeing this thing get used. Wonder if they move the racks forward like guys did with the c5s and 10 ribs??

Yes, but the pulley spacing/etc is different.

Maybe the added the 2 ribs to the back side instead of the front side. That would be doable, but would eliminate the room to add a cog DD later, and make it only work with this specific blower bracket/crank pulley setup.

Well I thought the main clearance issue was the rack? And obviously the racks are in the same place??

I'm assuming this is all going to be kind of an all or nothing deal.. Not a mix and match type setup... Because it's got to be specific and tight to double the belt width from factory.

Depends. C5 10 rib kits come with spacers to move the rack forward. maybe they did this. Or they added ribs to the back, and took up the space between the 4 rib ac and front drive on the crank. I wonder if there is still enough room then for atleast a 6 rib ac. If they did that I doubt you could still cog it.

I spaced my rack forward on my C5 and have tons of room for 12 rib (currently running 10)

Well back to the zr1 it fits 11rib blower belt with a 6rib acc belt.

So 17 total ribs??

So it actually shouldn't be much a problem for a any c6 to fit the 4 and 12 total..

Just a question of how they did it.

Thanks for the kind words

Don't see any reason for having to swap belts often.
However if you need to, its not a big deal, goes right on.

Tensioner is heavy duty spring loaded unit,
That can also be locked out if the customer wants.
(not that fixed tensioners work well, but hey)

And now with the intercooler coming with 4" out of the gate, this is a full boogie system that can actually support what our F blowers really can put out. (Thanks to all these amazing C6 customers really pushing the power numbers up)

Biggest HP supporting air to air intercooler
Biggest and baddest blowers on the block
Now a bracket you can hang the car from and shake it.
(The old bracket still is killer, just won't fit the big 12 rib)
From stock, to rock...we got you covered.

Thanks again guys, we love the C6's and love seeing them get faster!
(Can't go a day without some YouTube video of a ProCharged Vette killing it on the highway, or track)

PS: Also made it so our bracket works with all heads.
Since some people were installing them minus a bolt due to the heads.
So everyone is good to go now.

What are the requirements for the 12 rib? Do you need to loose anything?

8 rib can be tight on a C5. I remember my C6 having more room before I went back to a 6 rib.
