Default Runway Rivalry Roll Race set for Oct. 17th

I am posting in this particular forum because the vast majority of the cars that compete in the roll race are either supercharged or turbocharged and some get a little extra help with the NOS.

Dallas Racing just announced the date for their next race will be October 17th at CADDO MILLS airport again. It will be a one day event for cars that have LESS than 1100 RWHP. Last time breakout MPH was 168.5 MPH.

One of the major sponsors of the event will be Advanced Modern Performance along with some others from the Runway Rivalry II race.

Here is a clip from the last race of my black SS in one of it's heat races against a viper (it is at the 26:25 mark in the video).

how long is the race? 1/4mi? 1/2mi?

I expected much higher MPH for a rolling start...unless that's a 1/4mi roll race only. Then that's pretty impressive.

I need to stop fishing every week in SPI and fix my turd. Love Caddo Mills and heading in to Dallas at night. It's been quite a while.

I can always take my blower belt off when we run just to give you a chance.

I'll be there. Hopefully the breakout speed gets a bump to 170-172 range this fall.

60 mph start, and about 1500ft of acceleration.
Typical sub 1000rw car could trap 158 to 163 depending on the set up.

With 175 mph being a Ti class.. i really dont see RR being bumped that close .. IMO if you are over 170 you are a Ti car

I am planning on either making TI or RR this fall, missed both of the last events and I need to get back out on the runway and blow the cob webs out.

You're making more than the maximum HP allowed.

170 sounds like a good breakout number for RR imo. My 170 pass could just be a fluke. I made the hit a lil over 60 mph on that run.
