I remember my 3000GT VR4 days.. guess that's not quite a 4 banger, though.

I just got my daily (15 WRX) to put out 400whp on a Mustang dyno. I'm pretty impressed that's 200hp per liter. All stock internals as well. Once it's build I'm hoping it will take the Vette in the 1/4 mile but by then the Vette will be pushing closer to 900whp.

that's epic this will remain a 6 speed.
curious how streetable that quad is going to be. my mantic triple is great but it is a touch harder to drive than a normal twin disc.

Hi Fran,
I have a TTIX kit on its way, (precision 6265s), dual meth nozzle, PMC billet/sheet metal intake manifold, PRC 265 LS7 street heads, 10.1:1 compression, Pat G spec'ced cam (daily driver-friendly turbo-specific), and thinking I might make close to the 1,020 Rwhp that you initially made. I ordered the regular McLeod RXT clutch.

some people seem to be fine but I doubt that RXT will last. my car started out making ~700whp and then was gradually upgraded to ~850whp and once the car got to that 850whp the RXT was toast and didn't hold one dyno pull. I'd go mantic twin or triple if were me. Going and doing the clutch a second time sucks

Would this pass smog in California? j/k
We have pushed well over 1000rwhp on an RXT. Just break it in properly. The more cubic inches (torque) the less power it'll hold. McLeod can also do an upgraded twin disc for 1200rwhp.... and a triple disc they don't list for more budget oriented setups....
