Well that sucks and is scary.

Scary doesn't even begin to describe. Car was at a 45 degree angle. Had to hammer the one side down. Would pop and drop 2-3" at a time. Not fun at all.
Got shifter out, just need to pull the torque tube now.

jesus, that sucks.
I've never even thought about what would happen if a car got stuck on a lift. At least you got it down.

Yah, on 4 jackstands now. Won't use the lift until I hear back from Danmar on what the hell is going on.
Wasted my whole morning dealing with that, so will pull tranny tomorrow since it is now 108F outside.

Nice. I had never seen the heat exchanger between transmission and diff fluid before. Interesting.

Yep, z06/zr1 have diff coolers. Tranny fluid pumps back to a HE which cools the diff. As you can see my tranny cooler is just looped.

I bought the fittings to just loop the fluid around too but never got around to actually doing it. I wanted to remove the lines that connect to the radiator because they were hitting the supercharger outlet pipe.
Ah well. Maybe later.
Think you'll get it back together tomorrow?

Nope. Don't have the fuel lines. They don't show up until Monday, and I'm in Houston Mon-Wed. So maybe next weekend if all the parts show up. Still need to get a few fuel fittings.

Ah well. Just another week.
Did you sell the old setup already?
I figured my issue out. 05 fuel level sensor works backwards from newer ones. Changed two tables in HPTuners and it's working fine now.

Not sure what you mean by old setup? Old fuel setup? That went out last week and new owner has it already. Old direct drive setup is going to Joe@CPR to use on his personal car. Haven't even listed the tranny.

Spent last hour trying to get tranny separated from diff. Any tips or tricks? It doesn't want to move.

Yep, got those two. Pain in the butt. Just need to figure out how to prop it up so I can wiggle the tranny loose.
