Played with plenty, seen plenty. Performance, reliability, power output, lag, etc are all unacceptable to me. Seen way too many issues, and never seen one perform well. It would be a step back from what you have now.

If you really want a good rear mount get a custom kit. You get what you pay for and if you go cheap, cheap becomes expensive a few months down the road. Either go to Matt at Florida speed n power for a custom tt rear mount or Fran at rpm for a big procharged f1x kit or similar. I wouldn't waste my time with an sts when a ysi can do the same job cheaper, more effectively and a better quality product

The original owner bought the company back when the previous owners had to sell it off in bankruptcy court. The original (and now current owner) Rick Squires has been in contact with me. Priced me out an upgraded kit utilizing 2.0 inch diameter pipes instead of the standard 1.75 that comes standard on the STS kit, upgraded injectors and upgrading to 67mm Comp oil-less turbos for about $11,250. Came out to around $12,500 including thermal coating pipes, turbine housing jackets, 3 level electronic boost controller and shipping.

Thinking that's a good price if the kit is as good as TTIX or APS.

I really don't want to go blower again. Been there, done that. I like how turbocharged vehicles drive more than supercharged-especially since its a manual tranny and I hate how on my car the refs are dragged down especially under 2,500 RPM. I feel the blower dragging down the revs and it's not as responsive as it was when it was N/A. Since turbo cars don't even engage the turbo before a certain point, I figure in the parking lot or driveway or whatever, the car will drive like N/A and return the rev-happy nature of the car.

I'm not sure you fully understand what you're getting into here. It may be best to do a bit more research before you pull the trigger on anything.

Turbos don't spin themselves, they need energy. They get it in two forms, heat and pressure. By mounting the turbos all the way at the rear of the car you loose both. This equates out to a loss in efficiency (power) as well as a loss in spool time. Compound this issue with an increase in IC piping, for an even longer spool time. To combat this they've decreased the IC piping to 1.75" (now 2" for you) to decrease the overall volume; which in turn now provides an overall restriction on the system overall. 900+hp through a couple 2" is doable, but the longer you make those pipes, the more restrictive they become.....

Post your dyno, and I'll overlay it with another to show you.

I know a front mounted turbo will spool faster. Just simply commenting on your post which makes it seems like rear mounts can't spool or make real power. Rear mounts set plenty of records before.

Packaging and ease of install are two major ones. Still haven't seen a front mount turbo setup I would put on my personal car and I'm 100% all for turbos and don't like rear mounts, but they do have some advantages.

I'm not at all saying that they don't make power. Just the spool time is lacking, and the overall efficiency of the system is lacking when in comparison to a proper turbo setup. I know many of them have made power, some alot of power due to the available room in the back for giant turbos compared to what you can acceptably fit under a hood up front. But if you don't need that big of a turbo, and there are other options available, I don't see why you would choose a less efficient system...
....it's like still using dialup...

FWIW my TTIX kit doesn't hit full boost til just below 4500ish. Having said that, all the rear mount dyno sheet's I've seen look like centri blower graphs whereas mine you could rest your beer on.
