Default Thinking of supercharger or turbo

Realistically is it a good idea to do this to a z06

The cars cammed /msd intake / 102 no cats full arh system , heads re worked etc etc so probably as far as I can go other than a set of mast heads or something I would think.

Will I need to change the cam (btr stage 3) or will it just go bang after a short while and loose any reliability .

What's a safe level of boost , is the ls3 a better option to go FI over the ls7??

So if my cars already running great n/a I just simply add the supercharger and that's it.

No need for a cam swap or anything

Yup, I had a complete N/A setup with a big cam made 600+ N/A and then added a turbo set up later down the road. Worked completely fine to me and it still sounds like a beast at idle.
Check it out
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...d-800-whp.html

Also if your heads are reworked you don't have to worry about much as long as you have a good tune. Stock rods and crank are forged from the factory, the Pistons and walls aren't too strong that's why I say have a good tune a fuel. Other then that I see no reason not to push 750--800+ .

Keep the same cam it will be fine.

Cheers Curtis good to know mate , what kit did you have fitted?

Interested in a turbo to be honest but if funds don't allow will have to go for a supercharger A&A type set up

I have a custom fabricated single turbo setup. It was only about $3.5k-4k. The turbo I used was a Billet S480 by Turbobay Performance.

You should go turbo. Just see if you can find a ship to fabricate you a kit. It will be pretty cheap. Or you can go with a upp kit which I recommend, I like the fender mount stuff get to keep my a/c and my engine Temps are around 173- 185 all the time.

If you don't do your own work, buy a supercharger.

agreed. a simple ECS kit can be quite reliable if done properly with good install and high quality tune . find a shop that does these all the time and stick with what they recommend unless you are building it yourself

Agreed. Throw in a cheap balancer while you're at it and enjoy.

I usually does all my mechanics, ill built my ZR1 and it was running flawlessly. Now im looking for something fun reliable and not too crazy regarding power level. Quick response on the streets is my main goal. UPP kit seems to sacrifice way too much stuff, the more i look at it.
