Default NEW HINSON C6 Short Throw Shifter - Videos Inside

Click Here For Price & Purchasing

Hinson Motorsports is proud to announce our HINSON C6 Short Throw Shifter. This shifter was designed for the Corvette enthusiast who is tired of the sloppy stock shifter. Built in the USA, this is the best way to shorten throws and narrow the gate distance between gears in your late model Corvette.

Engineered for precision shifts & closer gates
Short ratio throw for the fastest possible shifts
Powder coated & weighted steel shifter handle
Will accept the stock C6 **** or one of our aftermarket round *****
CNC machined aluminum base
Direct bolt in installation
Made and assembled in the USA

This is a quick video of how the shifter works and performs in the C5 and C7. We wanted to illustrate how short the throws are and how quick the shifter is. The shifter is identical with the exception of the handle design of the C5 shifter and exactly the same as the C7 with the exception of the ****. The C6 handle will mimic the shape of the stock handle and will accept the C6 stock **** or one of several Logo ***** we will offer. All handle and **** combinations will maintain the stock boot to **** finished look.

A few shifter pictures.

Here are a few pictures of the ***** (Sold separately).

NEW SHIFT ***** ARE HERE!!!!!! Add one of these to your HINSON short throw shifter purchase to give it the nostalgic look that anyone can appreciate.

Question, I have the MGW shifter, and in the installation of the MGW you have to cut the rubber boot. being that the boot is already cut will it still seal around your shifter? or will I need to but a new rubber boot to seal it with a zip tie as you did in the video for the C7?

also what is the height difference in the C6? from the stock and/or the MGW shifter to your shifter?

The rubber boot might fit. It will depend on how you cut it and you of anyone will have the best perspective. The height of our shifter is identical to stock. I do not know how it compared to the MGW.

Well all I can do is speculate as there are no deminsions mentioned. I can measure my mgw and compare to yours if you would supply the deminsion where the boot goes around your shifter.

The body where the boot will go around is roughly 3in long and 2in wide.

This is a quick way to change your driving experience. Installation can be handled easily with basic hand tools in about an hour.
