Default LS3 418/2200R build...thoughts?

Currently on the car is the Novi 1500 kit with the ecs small blower cam, 1 7/8 headers and meth. Work and tune was done by Lethal Performance in Schertz and made 724/622 @ 13psi. I ran the car once and it ran a 10.46@141mph full weight on 305 MT dr's on the 19s with a 1.85 60ft. It's an auto with the stock converter as well.

Apparently that wasn't enough lol. I gave Lethal a call and discussed the plans I have for it and what my goals were, pretty much a 900rwhp car give or take lol. After talking to Danny, this is a quick rundown on it...

LS3 forged 418
ported ls3 heads
ecs small blower cam
2200R head unit w/ 3.0 pulley
8 rib conversion with flip drive
Century 6l80e w yank converter
E85

They'll also be doing their coil relocation kit with the powdercoated valve covers and a catch can. I'm sure I'm leaving technical stuff out but I'm posting from my phone lol. Any thoughts?

No reason not to run a 10 rib.

Sounds like nice build. Similar to mine. 8 rib will work fine, but like the others said........if buying everything from scratch, just go with the 10 rib from the start.

I have an ls2 with the 1500 and was thinking of doing the same thing. Can the same brackets be used for the 2200r that are used for the 1500?

07blkvette, yes same bracket can take anything from a novi 1200 to 2200, si to Ysi.

There is no extra cost for 10 rib, so unless you already have a balancer/etc then just do 10 rib from the start.

ECS small blower cam isn't what I would run, but would work fine. Much rather see something custom tailored do your build, but if you were going for an off the shelf cam that could work fine.
