Also air density... How much air you can pack in there.

Cooler ambient temps don't just help IAT.. They also provide more dense air, cooler air across the core (IAT), cooler air flow across the radiator and engine compartment (to get Coolant temps down).

Run on a warm day, then run on a cool day and log every thing, then tell me you don't run faster on a cooler day with similar IATs... (Meth fogging the IAT sensor is not a true indication of air temp).

A 3000' swing in DA is easily 1 tenth and 1-2 mph min....usually more.

Even a nitrous car will run faster in cool air...and that's the coldest IAT you can get.

Rule of thumb is 1% horsepower change for every 10 degrees of intake temp change.

I'm running dual nozzle meth and I'm launching as hard as I can with no spin and I only get a 1.8. A6 no converter

Have you tried launching from a dead idle and trying to "flash" the stock converter?

Obviously, you need a real converter...but you should 60' better then you do with what you have.

Centrifugal blowers are high strung....you need rpms and you're not gonna get them quick with a stock converter and stock 2.56/2.92 gears.

But hell, my wife's stock G8 went 1.9 60' with a 2.92 gear so.....you should be able to squeeze out better then 1.8s lol.

Cooler air means more power PERIOD. If your car doesn't run better as the air temps get cooler then you are ignoring the laws of physics. In the example stated, there is NO DOUBT that you should be able to run .1 to .2 faster. If you don't then you need to find yourself a new tuner. You can suspend MORE fuel particles in cooler air because the air is more DENSE.

I'm just about the same 60'... 670rwhp/632tq 10.76@134mph 1.88 60'
Stock LS3, ECS SC1500, dual nozzle, A6 stock converter, 2.56 gear. We will need a converter or gears to reduce those times.
