They revv'ed that part number 5-6 times. Even when I got mine, it was the 3rd or 4th part number or revision of the block.

Motors now home. Have to pickup a few things to clearance the windage tray tonight, but the complete motor should be ready this weekend to drop in and then the fun begins.

awesome build!

BTW, good choice of wheels (TSW Nurburgrings). Those are what I use.

I've been pushing the kit for awhile. I have the current HP record of 1223/1206@21lbs. All with E70 winter blend and filters on turbos. Has more in it but I just left it there now. More than enough for Mexico trips.

What boost controller are you using?

Got some time on Friday to start putting things back together.

Started with spacing out the windage tray and taking some material out of the LS2 oil pan.

Painted the valve covers with exhaust paint since they where starting to look their age.

And pretty much everything back together to be ready to drop in.

Unfortunately, I am out of town for the rest of the week for work so progress may be delayed. I ended up selling the 58's the kit came with and looking to get my hands on a set of PTE 6266's to really test the motor.

Otherwise, ProEFI is going in next and I have decided to go with a Fore triple kit instead of external pumps to support my goals.

Loved them for my old power levels, but I can't even give these things away now it seems. I want to switch to some Weld Alumastars for the front, to match my 15" RTS in the rear, but need to sell these first before ordering the new wheels. Otherwise the wife will probably kill me with how this build is going.

One turbo came in today. Since no one (that I know of) has test fitted any other turbo's except UPP's, I figured I would start with one, test fit, and go from there. Decided to go with Precision 6266's Gen 2 that are capable of 800hp. If everything fits, I would like to do some comparison between the power curve on these compared to what others are seeing with their 6182's (or hybrids that are on the horizon).

That's pretty! But why not step up on the wheel size?

Mostly money and this point. I got a deal that I couldn't really pass up on these. Maybe down the line, if these don't get me to where I want to be , I'll upgrade.

So, question for the fuel guru's out there. Ideally, how large of fuel pumps will I need to go on a Fore system to make 1,200-1,300whp on e85? Will 3x Walbro 342's be enough with a return system or should I step up to a bigger size? Know there is some concern with the larger units as they are a PITA to get into the tank.

Otherwise, slow progress as usual on build. I just sent out my clutch to be rebuilt, so I will probably just wait for it to come back before popping the motor in the car. Since all of this is on jack stands, I much rather do as much out of the car as I can.

Here is your daily dose of engine ****.

I have triple AEM 320's and am hoping that's enough for the same power level and fuel.
