Default ECS 1500 or P1SC

For approximately the same money, given the used p1sc is in excellent condition including Dallas performance charge tube and the ECS is new with a warranty..

Which would you choose?

This will sound biased, but it truly is what I would pick, the new 1500.

Why? Warranty and it flows more. Plus I like the quieter head unit but that's just opinion.

The ECS kit. The Ti trim included in the ecs kit is more comparable to a Procharger D1. The p1sc is more like a Vortech V3. What are your power goals or future expansion?

Not completely biased, you have experience with both!

ECS kit is a Paxton 1500, not a vortech. Always open for expansion, rather not buy everything twice

They are the same head unit with different badges though.

I very well know that Vortech owns Paxton and they are basically the same. Btw, I have an ECS kit on mine.

Ah, I was aware the companies merged but didn't realize this. Are the novi's still using billet covers vs cast?

Ok my bad. But the p1 and 1500 both have 1200 cfm max flow from what I can find.

Didn't know that, sorry for miss information. I was really going off of the power I have made from both and assumed. IMHO, the 1500 is a more capable blower.

As for billet casings goes, the 2200R does where the YSI is cast, but the smaller blowers are all cast.

Even if the PC kit was $1500 less I would still get the ECS kit. It is just a superior setup.

The reason I said the vortech v3 is because as far as I know paxton no longer uses the sl1200, which in my opinion is more comparable to a p1sc. Some people have been able to get serious hp numbers out of the p1sc but they are over spinning them too.

Paxton does offer the 1200, we just don't use them here. I feel they are better suited for 6 cylinder cars.

Over 6,000 miles on my ECS kit and the only thing I've done is change oil and win races. Doug is fast to answer any questions and ship out any needed parts you may miss place as I did. Cant beat that...

You will make more power on 1500 cfm vs 1200 cfm. Go ecs.

The Newr 1500 and Ti trim are 1400cfm and are a better comparison to a D1 then a P1 which is closer to an Si trim or 1200.
