Just to pile on, I also destroyed a 27 spline main shaft. This was at ~660 rwhp and street tires doing a roll on. Had the trans built with custom gear ratios and a 30 spline shaft by Rockland Standard. Picked up a low mileage C6Z diff and all the diff cooler lines to make it functional. Made for a nice, clean upgrade.

I'd do a Z06 diff instead of having the stock one built, but that's just me.

Oh dang, yea I had no idea they were that prone to breaking, I'll definitely get it swapped out but i have a very lightly used rpm diff and its braced so I'm hoping it holds up without swapping to z06 parts

UPDATE: I have purchased a new F1C, MM catch can
I do have a few questions regarding fuel and the new blower set up.
I purchased a Procharger bracket and dallas performance direct drive, it seems as the procharger bracket will keep me from running 10 rib, even though i was told i could by PC, ive called again and they said they dont even make one.. ok.. well if i decide to keep the bracket, could i purchase a 10 rib balancer and blower pulley just in case later i want to swap brackets?

Ive decided im just goint to stay on 93/meth, will ID1000s be enough?
what are my stock heads good for as far as PSI and what blower pulley should i get with an overdrive pulley?

i have the A&A plumbing and BOV, do i need to upgrade to a bigger BOV? i think im running a 38mm.

You're gonna have to either but the Dallas Performance J bracket setup or a A&A 10 rib bracket if you want to completely run 10 rib which I would with a F series. I had the same dilemma but I went ahead and bought the bracket from A&A and a 10 rib blower pulley from DP.

ID1000s will be good.

I just got off the phone with A&A, I'm going that direction. Though an 8 rib would work, I'd rather spend the extra couple hundred more and go 10 rib.

Since DP doesn't offer pulleys anymore, where can I find a 10 rib blower pulley?

Just curious why the PC and not a YSi?

Definitely upgrade to a 52mm bov.

My si bracket wouldn't fit a ysi, so regardless of blower I would have to swap bracket blower and add a flip drive. And the f1c was much cheaper than what I could find the ysi for.

I see. I was under the impression the bracket would work. Learn something new everyday.

its weird i know, if you buy the Si kit after a certain time frame they changed the bracket, to only fit the si blower.

UPDATE:
Collecting all these parts have taken longer than i expected but, whatever.
Blower/10 rib bracket setup is complete, also went with the 6 rib zr1 compressor and c5 compressor bracket.
I am now going E85, purchased a set of ID1300s and complete fuel system is coming in in a few weeks
all thats left is the trans, prop shaft, flex fuel, zr1 map and ctsv maf for fuel density.

Ill still be on stock rails, its been modified to fit a -8 an fitting, what would stock rails be good for on E85?
I also picked up a DP big mouth, will it fit over the dropped stock rad?

Always takes longer than we expect... good to see its coming along. If that is the 4 inch DP intake, it wont work with a stock rad.

Gonna say no chance.. I have a full size dewitts, which is about same as stock size. I lowered it a bunch by modifying the cradle, and still there is no way a 4 inch pipe gonna fit there.

To be honest.. I didn't try it. I can just see that on my car, there is no way. I didn't like the A&A (or any plastic ones) so I made a custom one.

A&A just came out with a new version that flows better than the original. That might be an option.
