Anyone have Experience with TTiX Kit?
Hi, I'm wondering if any forum member has experience with a Turbo Technologies Inc TTiX kit and can share their opinions from first hand experience.

I prefer the UPP kit.
I've measured back pressure on both kits and the UPP kit is a more efficient kit. It really depends on your power goals though.
I think up to the 1k mark the TTIX is fine. Much beyond that and you will fight it the rest of the way.

What exactly did you not like about your TTIX kit? What issues did you have? Any fit and finish issues, vibration, poor construction or quality? Was your car still daily drivable once you installed the TTIX kit?

I've always read that it got restrictive over about 1000rwhp. I don't have any personal experience with it though.

Lol! Already got the TTIX kit. Too late for that. But convinced my buddy Matt to send his orange 2014 Viper T/A over to you from Jersey City by Thanksgiving. Antonio's doing a twin 67 set up for him.

car will turn out awesome. Not tell him to do some wheels on that thing so it wont look like every other orange 1 lol
Send down some more customers. Want to do a few wicked vette setups and stuff. May have customer in NY sending his ctsv down for twin kit also

Also it's just a pain in the *** to work on. Anytime the turbos need to come out the cradle needs to be lowered (for the drivers side anyway). The downpipes are *********** to R&R and some of the piping is also hard to get to/get to line up.
Overall quality of the kit is good, only gripe is the piping is mild steel, even the downpipes (although I upgraded to the Champions 3" SS downpipes).
It's very daily driveable after sorting out some oil feed/drain problems (converted to scavenging to combat smoking issues). I have the race intercooler which creates engine cooling issues on hot days.
I mean it's not *****, but it's not the bee's knees by any means.
Not sure what Calvo could make a Vette kit for (dollarbuck-wise) but the Caddy and Viper kits I've seen him make are top notch.

We were the first to Crack over 1000 rwhp and 1100 rwhp without using NOS
We were the first to make the 3" downpipe, and we were the first to develop the Precision billet 62/65 with Turbonetic exhaust housing combination.
My car makes 1140 rwhp and my customer's C6 makes 1160rwhp @ 21 psi.

I have made 1090 on 15# with DKT exhaust housing and custom built the rest. I am on 6766's with e85.... waiting for the motor upgrades to be completed to turn it up some more and see what she will make at 25-30#. but we have see backpressure creeping up, so we might have to go to T4 exhaust housings with a better turbo header....

Interesting. My kit from Turbo Technologies Inc themselves came that way (6265 turbos Precisions internals with Turbonetics externals). I'm hoping that with aftermarket heads, sheet metal intake manifold, a conservative turbo camshaft, and race gas) I still hope to make at least 1,100 Rwhp.
