440ci 10:1 + Nitrous
So I have a 2007 c6z with a v3 si which I am getting rid of.
I been thinking of switching this to my daily car. Running a 150-175shot making 700whrp.
Same as I would with the blower.
10:1 comp is it too low for nitrous ?
I have a 440ci dragons layer crank Crower titanium rods diamond coated Pistons etc. I do not have sleeves

**** I would hit that baby with 400hp in 2 stages! That's kind of low but you will be fine. Hell ls1s I believe we're 10:1 and they did fine with nitrous.

If he is iron block then you need an idea of ring gap which probably isn't all that tight if it was a boosted build.
I'm spraying 225 on the stock sleeves and making 750+ to the rear tire. It's all in the tune. Up to a 225 you can make a plate kit work. Over that jetting you need to go with direct report from my experience. I'm at 12:1 compression for what it's worth.

No reason to ditch the blower IMO.

10:1 is fine for nitrous. You should have no problem spraying what you want to, just make sure your tune is on point and you have all of the safety features offered. True, the LS7 has thin walls, and I wouldn't push it past what your tuner recommends. Our plate system is more than capable of getting you up to 200HP extra, and is capable of more if the feed line is upgraded to a 6AN. If you want, give me a call at 254-848-4300 Ext. 104 so we can go over your build and discuss the different options available to you.

Okay so I spoke to my engine builder compression is closer to 10.3:1 so it's basically in the 11s. Almost
Anyways I'm loosing about 25whrp I should dyno at 550whrp with this setup all motor. I will be spraying a 150 most likely maybe a 175.
I do have a new gm ls7 block I don't know if that makes a difference ? Not stock block on c6 z06 from 2007
Anyways blower is sold my setup will work fine and extremely safe on a 150 shot I should hit 700whrp with 650tq
That's perfect what I'm asking for. 700hp is enough for a daily driven car soon I will be driving this allot more.
I think I'll be extremely happy on my 150shot
Also should I go dry or wet shot? I need whichever makes most power?? I have very large injectors which I might switch out if I go wet I will be going with a seperate 2gal fuel cell for nitrous running c16 fuel.
I was thinking about going e85 but that would be quite annoying as I live in Miami and whenever I go anywhere I do not see any e85s

I just had a buddy with stock motor few bolt ons no heads cam spray a 175 fine he said he broke his sleeve at a 200 which is why I would not want to spray a 175 on a 440ci my internals are rated for 1200hp or so but had no idea about the sleeves until I finished my motor.
Do they make sleeves for 440cis? Might open it up later down the road sleeve it and spray a 250

Yes down the road i think ill go high compression the highest i can run ethanol make around 620-630whrp, & spray a 250shot. be at over
change pistons add sleeves, what do you guys think

I know a few people who've sprayed a little over 200 on stock cylinder sleeves. Sheer cylinder pressure alone won't crack or split a sleeve. Case in point, there's a few guys on here who are damn close to 1,000 RWHP on completely stock short blocks.
It's when spark issues like pre-ignition / detonation f*ck sh*t up. I know the higher scr / dcr you go narrower the tuning window becomes. I don't have any fears or worries though.
