Blown head gasket repair almost complete
I blew a head basket on my LS3 at the track last month and I am now getting close to getting it all back together. The heads needed to be milled .003 and the valves needed to be cleaned up. Other than that no major dammage issues. I took the opportunity to do a comp cam trunnion upgrade, ARP stud kit, plugs, plug wires, LS9 head gaskets, exhaust gaskets, and serpentine belt. I did a few dress up items by painting the intake cover, valve covers, fuel rail, alternator and alt bracket. I got the Novi 1500 rebuilt as well, the bearing was getting noisy. It should arrive tomorrow and I should be back on the road for the weekend.

Running strong
I finished the install this weekend. The motor fired right up. The Comp Cam trunnions seem a bit louder than the factory set but I may just be paying more attention than usual. That will bother me and will keep an eye on them. Took a few short trips and all seems good to go.
