Got the Brodix heads installed with the new morel link bar lifters and some new pushrods. WCCH installed new Del West Ti intake valves so I was planning on reusing my lash caps but when we checked the valve tips with a magnet, it stuck. I guess these have the hardned steel tips?

My valves have hardened tips but I used lash caps too. No issues.

Thanks When are these going to be available for the F1X? I can't seem to find them and they were at PRI!

Engine shop said to leave them off so I guess I am going without them

Do whatever your shop suggest. I just took using lash caps into account when I did pushrods. No issues.

I was hoping to have her fully put back together by the end of the weekend but my Hinson motor mounts won't be here until Monday. I did just get the shipping notification for the F1X though. It should be here Friday

The plan right now is to have her on the dyno before the end of the month. I called AMP today to schedule the car and they seemed pretty open this month so it takes some stress off.

I have a 8" crank and a 4.125" upper right now. I'm aiming for 1100whp.... I may have to move to a larger upper as the 4" intake and OEM manifold may not restrict the X enough.

F1X is here and the motor mounts arrived early. If all goes well we should have her together by the end of the weekend.

4.125"/8" is good for 1400+ rwhp you should be fine

Need a dog section on this forum. I have mixed breeds that look different than most dogs. Mainly because I prefer to adopt rescues from the pound.

Haha. That 427 LSX (Stevens)Sergey posted made a little over 1100 on a 4.15 and with the filter on. I was hoping the LS7 intake and the piping would restrict it a bit.

EDIT: wrong engine

3" S-pipe
4" intake
3.5" fmic to tb pipe.

I will probably swap that pulley out anyway like I said in the OP. Hopefully AMP has some larger ones laying around.

My last dog was picked up as a puppy off the side of a dirt road on an indian reservation.
Dog before that from a rescue when an old lady surrendered him.

Last I heard, they don't have any 10 rib pullies larger than a 4.125".
You can always just put a restrictor plate if needed.

Just order the 10 rib pulley from someone that makes a bigger one, like DP.

As far as I know, DP doesn't offer any 10 rib pullies larger than a 4.125".

I think Jeff (turbotuner) had a like a 4.5" on his F1X that he got from DP. Was he on a 10 rib?
