Baby steps here. I started leaving at about 3500 with somewhat slow slip and feeding gas at the same time. As I felt that the track and tire were putting the power down I became more aggressive with a higher rpm, quicker slip while accelerating (gas feed) during the process. Notice that I drag raced before with drag radials when it was N/A and ran 11.20s that way. Once SC on one night after I installed the meth because of the timing being pulled I went 11.18, 10.80, 10.64 and 10.54 with a best 1.64 60ft. The speeds went from 128 to 134. I still felt that I wasn't being aggressive enough leaving at about 4500. I went again on a different night but the track prep went to crap really quick and I just got off the road and on my very first pass I got a 1.57 60ft 10.58@131. I felt the power drop off because the timing was being pulled but this time due to engine temps in the 230s. I knew that was going to be my 10.30s but oh well.

I use MT DRs on 17" wheels 275/40-17 to be exact at anywhere between 15-17psi.

thanks for all the input I'll try and have fun tomorrow with the car

I just want my 10.8/10.9 and I'm hoping that should be easily attainable. I'll be sure to take pics/video.

that track event rained out but I did get to go tonight...

It was like learning to drag race all over again (driving street tires for 10 years to now a stickier compound).

Got myself a 1.76 60' on the NT05R. I think it was respectable. I'll make a separate thread tomorrow at some point. Car is officially a 10 second car.
