LS7 e85 injector size for 900HP range?
I'm considering e85 on my LS7 Procharger setup but what size injectors would I need running in the 900HP range? Thanks for any help.

I use ID1300s and make 880 with a IDC of 56%. Fore triple pump setup with DSX flex fuel kit.

1300 and 1700's were designed for E85. My understanding is they're stainless steel to help handle E85

I remember reading some reports where people letting E85 sit for long periods on ID1000's had issues, that may be where he's getting it from

ID2000s no, ID1300s and 1700s are built for ethanol.
ID1000s never had issues either, but 2000s did.

Typically 850s are going to be too small for e85 unless you want e85 for 600-700rwhp so I doubt many people do that.

I don't see why 1300's wouldn't work for that.
And Unreal is right.. ID2000's had the issues, can't find anything on 1000's

I would just do 1300s, but 850s or 1000s should work fine for a NA setup.

The are definitely bigger than advertised. 1000+ can be made no problems.

Check out what pressure too.
1300@43psi is a lot more injector than 1300@60psi.
I'm ~1200rwhp on ID1300s, e85, and no issues. Base pressure ~57psi.

I didn't expect they would make it to 1200. Good to know.

Id 850s work fine on e85. If youre buying them for na just go with 1000s just to make sure you have room to grow in the future when you smarten up and go boosted

On E85? I was thinking yours were maxed before that for some reason

Easy rule of thumb that seems to work is CC=RWHP for e85. 850cc will make 850rwhp. 1000cc=1000rwhp. etc.
Assuming you have enough pump. I think that is a lot of peoples problems. If fuel pressure drops off, then all bets are off. If you can hold 60-80psi, then no problems. A lot of people 1/2 *** a fuel system, so they make up for in oversized injectors and ramp them up to make up for dropping fuel pressure.
