looks like a good build but you're crazy to be looking for that kind of power from stock diffs and half shafts. lol. even with roll racing. I'll definitely be following to see what kind of #'s you guys get!

I wish they had a load cell on their DynoJet, but the most important thing is that Empire works closely with Alpha, and Alpha is a master at tuning Pro EFI cars.

Anyone have any experience or advice regarding meth injection?

I already have a single nozzle system installed from my previous build. I will be running E98 or Ignite Red 114 ethanol race blend on full boost, but wonder if also using that meth will help me make more power and keep things running cooler....

I'm surprised meth wasn't on the plan from the start. It's supposed to drop intake air temps drastically and allow for more timing, though I've no experience with all of the things you're doing with the car...just speaking in reference to my experience from just adding a blower.

If nothing else, I would think it would be worth adding just for the cleansing properties it will provide.

Its overkill IMO to add meth on e98... I have friends making way more power than you running 7.8s in the 1/4 on e98.

Alpha is local, no comment

Are you in the Tampa area? He isn't local to me in NY.

I have been hearing that meth isn't necessary on E98 or Ignite Red 114, but just to keep temps down, I'm thinking it might be worth it.
And won't it still help me make a bit more power as well?

I love overkill. A 1200 rwhp corvette is overkill LOL!!!!

IMO e98 is overkill, but the OP is the OP. e85 is good for 90% of the time and ignite 114 is good for kill mode.

Induction Performance is okay. If it was me, I can think of quite a few other people I would trust first; SP, D3, etc.

1200 is the new 800. Yes they're about 30 minutes from me. Regardless of your tuner, I would NEVER have my car remotely tuned, especially at "1200"

Just a typical air-air intercooler. Stock fans.

Any suggestions that don't include an air-water set up?

Not trying to have a waterfall in my trunk like my friends do. Takes up a lot of space and makes me want to pee every time I get in their cars lol!

Sell the meth kit, buy D3PE's fan upgrade and you'll be fine.

I know how dumb this sounds, but what's the main benefit of having it tuned locally?

Dewitt's + D3PE fan setup is about as good as it gets. Whether you'll need it or not.. there's really only one way to find out. You're using an aluminum block so maybe you'll be ok. Maybe.

True. I may as well just find out at SlipStream 1/2 mile airstrip event on July 24th in Pennsylvania. And take it from there as needed (if needed).

Im wondering why we dont hear more about the meziere electric water pump.
I had very good results on the C5 maggie and that was when I did dumb stuff like donuts. It lasted years too.

I had a Meziere electric water pump on a previous car. Lasted only 2 years and crapped out, nearly totaling my motor. Also, not worth the extra 4rwph for a car that will also be driven on the street most of the time.

Unfortunately I didn't make it to SlipStream this past weekend. The tuner had issues while tuning my car this past Friday with my fuel pressure dropping from 60PSI to 32PSI once the motor wound up to 5,400 RPMs. The Pro EFI specialist tuner (Alpha from Induction Percormance) wasn't in contact with the guys who sourced and installed my fuel system. Those guys just told me an hour ago that the tuner needs to make sure the second pump comes on. My ignorance of how custom fuel systems work didn't help.
Made 657 rwhp on pump 93 at 6 PSI and 5,400 RPMs and was running well up too that point. The drive-by-wire controlled by the Pro EFI was dialed in pretty well too.
Let's hope it's something simple like this and that I get my car back within a week. -Will post more updates.
