My first pass in the 10s a&a kit
I know its not record breaking but im happy for what ive put into it.
Its an a&a kit v2si with 3.6 pulley, meth, z06 exhaust, mantic9000, ls2 longblock stock. Running c5 wagon wheels on 275 40 17 mickeys SS DR's. 621rwhp Tuned by Matt GPtuning.
Went 10.8@130
I was racing a S/C C7
I think i have a bit of room for improvement. Its about a 4300ish clutch slip and the mantic takes it like a champ

Nice pass!
Especially for a bone stock motor and a stick trans.
Ironically, I ran exactly the same ET and just a tad more mph on a stock ls6 motor and a A&A d1sc kit...at 622rwhp.
That's a fun, reliable level to be at.

I was the guy in the silver Z06. Nice pass! Track prep sucked and DA was well over 1000ft most if the day. My trap speed was down from when I went in January. Can't wait to get my supercharger on.

Good job! You can get a better 60ft with more practice. What pressure you used? I use 16psi since anything higher it spins. I start launching around 4500-4800 but by the time I do a quick slip I'm wot. Also, shift points make a difference in trap speed. At least that's what I noticed on mine.
I was at my track last night too and I also run wagon wheels with the same exact size tires. I was able to pull a personal best 60ft of 1.55 but I couldn't get second gear to go in on that pass. Still a managed at 10.82@132. Ran a best of 10.58@131 last night with a silky blower cam.
My PB is 10.54@134 but that was with a different cam (n/a) and tuned by Dave Steck which was almost dead on perfect. I did a quick tune after the blower cam swap and it is rich since I tune for a safe AFR without meth and super safe timing as well. Did a datalog just now and the AFR was 10.91-11.1 at wot without meth so I can only assume that AFR had to be low 10s last night. It's usually one full point with a single m10 nozzle. I'm going to start pulling some fuel little by little until I'm happy.
I may go to the track again tomorrow and this time take my laptop to tweak it some more.
Your times will only get better with more practice so keep going at it!

I was at about 17psi, i strted trying to launch it at about 3500rpm and started creeping up from there noticing my 60' getting lower.
That pass holding it at 4300rpm made me abit nervous to be honest lol i was thinking the drivetrain isnt going to like this, but it felt good coming out of there.
Going to up the rpm and hope for the best and try to get the 60' in the 1.6s ill be happy with anything faster than my current 10.8

The key is to avoid side stepping the clutch pedal at all cost and prevent any wheel hop. Since you have a mantic I wouldn't worry about it too much since the twins are less aggressive biting wise compared to a "race" single. I gave an RXT on mine and so far love it!
I couldn't go to the track gain last night but went through my tune and fixed the maf curved some 2%. I have to do another couple of pulls and datalog.
If you dont have hp tuners, I think is a must for supercharged cars. You can learn quite a bit in the process.
I'm sure you'll do better next time around with all else being equal. Track prep has to be good too!

Went again tonight, i was able to do a 10.8 again. It seems im grouping my runs a bit tighter 10.8-11.1 where before i was a little all over the place.
I tried launching a lil higher on this one and ended up bogging. Not sure if i didnt give a long enough slip.
Still managed and 11.1 at 130mph
I didnt get ligned up with anything interesting tonight. Just a bunch of random cars.
But hey i won a trophy!

The rpms drop considerably during launch on that low 11 pass. It looks to me that you're not feeding the gas before releasing the clutch. The slip was quick but the gas modulation which should have started before the clutch release was absent. You have to bring the rpms up to around 4500 and once you're ready, launch like you are coming of a regular stop light but you're going wot at the same time the clutch is being released. Practice makes perfection. Another thing to look at is if the seat is too far once it pushes you back into the seat during a launch you move away from the gas pedal and can't control it the same way. I always move my seat and the back rest forward.
You are getting there so dont give up! Best of luck.
I wanted to race last night but it rained out. Bummer!

I think you might be right about the seat thing being an issue also. I sit pretty relaxed and i probably dont have the best control on the gas after it puts me back a bit. Im definitely going to pay more attention to that and maybe put my seat up.
Now that im going a bit more i might look into some gto spares and ordering an mgw soon.
Sorry about the rain out, i remember one time i had just got to the track and it decided to sprinkle. We sat around for like 2 hours untill it went away. No refund lol thanks for the tips much appreciated!
