Hope not.. think this will ready to the market in next spring..

Latest upgrade under work before making final desing of billet case is add third support bearings to main and countershafts.
We believe with that option and with billet case transmission can handle even 2500hp applications.

EDIT: so far tested "only" with a 1575hp/ 1450lb ft at dyno so all my "can handle more" is just speculation.

Absolutely no idea yet.. Probably needs testing around till next spring before sure it really works perfect.
everything else is custom built here exept reserve gear, seals and bearings are Tremec stuff. Uses all OEM sensors and T56 bolted oil pump. Places for external spray will come to case as well.

Ok Thx What I have has been holding up pretty good, but I'm planning on being a little more aggressive with my racing in all forms so durability is one of my concerns, but going to a sequential or something similar is on the list of wants/needs to reach goals I believe. So if you have a ball park of what you think its going to cost you could PM me so I could either keep it on the list of options or not is all. Thanks, nice work BTW.

incorrect..
the getrags only last when the supra makes 102391023912 rwhp and 800 ft #.
once the supras start making Tq they crap them out just like we do 6060s.. Several supra guys are doing 6060/t56 magnum Swaps because at higher tq they live longer.

I think all transmission makers rate them in torque load too not hp.

Seems to be quite a few videos of cars losing it when they pull their chutes ? Would almost be a danger rather than safety.

Transmission sounds very interesting though.

What were the Viper guys using ? I recall years ago there were some seriously fast manual cars over the 1/4 so they're bound to be making huge power and speed for the 1/2 or mile stuff now too ?

Yeah, looked like he deployed it at the same time getting off the throttle. As I understand, you want to deploy the chute while still under throttle to avoid drastically upsetting the suspension.

I've never needed one, but i'm imagine there's some coordination and practice involved before one gets the pattern down right and consistently. 200mph is a hell of a speed to learn that kinda crap tho.

Exactly...the safest thing is dont use a chute. Dont unsettle the car. It will slow down naturally and safely on its own.

It's not like there isnt plenty of room at these events.

Or know how to use the proper safety equipment correctly... It's pretty simple, I know plenty of people who use them in the 1/4 without any issues. Also chutes have saved cars from a terrible wreck by straightening out the car after getting squirrelly.

Yup.. setup, packing, and proper use is critical.

My first time deploying at 190 was uneventful and I really questioned the need... Now over 240 I am thankful it is there and will be adding a second chute to meet the rules for 250+

I've thought about adding a chute just for my lame *** 1/2 mile stuff going 185-190mph. It depends on track and setup but you run out of space really quick. Any misjudgement or brake issue and going off the end of the track doesn't sound fun.

I've run 190+ many times, after seeing quite a few cars crash when the chute is deployed, no way ever would I use one.
I've never raced on any runway where braking area was even remotely a concern, even from 200mph. As said, the car slows down so fast even without the brakes, you never need to brake hard at all.
Although I'm sure cars pulling 250etc would require a little more effort.

But it is off the general topic.

Any more pics of the trans and the billet case ? What ratios did you go with ? Clearly it's just an H pattern, would it ever be made with a proper sequential operation ?

All depends on the track. Some places have tons of shut down, others don't. So saying never is hard to judge without knowing every place you will ever race.

RPM transmission will likely suggest a faceplated T56 build. You can call Jeremy Jones over there and see what they suggest. Should hold 1500 no problem.
