What intank fuel pump for 800 wheel on e85?
Starting a bugget turbo build on my C6. What intank fuel pump setup will get me 800 wheel. I know fore does the dual intank setups, but are there any single intank reliable stock replacement fuel pumps that can handle this power on e85?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Why not just do an inline?

That's not to say it shouldn't be done. My intank was changed and I never had an issue, but when I needed more fuel I added an external dual pump. Just much easier for me.

Yeah, if everything goes right it's not that big a deal. It's when they don't that it can turn into a total pain. The lines on mine got stuck to the crossover tube (on passenger side anyways) so I couldn't move the tank out far enough to get the lines out.. it was a royal PITA. If they had came out like they should have it wouldn't have taken half an hour to get it out

I actually had to buy a new crossover tube, the first time i pulled mine they broke. Not sure if I was too aggressive with it or what but mongo broke it.
After that I sprayed a dry lube on those fittings and the main oring on the crossover pipe, and it slips together much easier.

Did mine on Wednesday...getting to it wasn't bad, but I broke the two lines that leave the drivers tank going to the cross over tube...thank god a caddy dealer had them in stock.
Have fun reconnecting the transfer tubes back to the fuel pump...
But when putting it back together make sure you lube the gaskets (silicone lube) and pretty much everything that the cross over tube touches makes for reinstall a breeze IMO

Are there other options to an inline external pump kit other than A&A and ECS? I don't want to drop my tanks either and want to remove the BAP simply because I don't trust it. Plus overspinning the pump past what was designed for doesnt make sense to me either.
What about making your own kit? Anyone has put one together and is willing to share the info? Thanks.

ECS has a cool little "splicer" thing that will connect an additional fuel source to the factory lines back near the pump.. stage 1 fuel system for them basically. I think they lowered the price recently to $799 for the whole stage 1 kit
Black piece at the end. Return line on bulkhead would be capped with stage 1 and different pump than in this picture.

Now that ECS has lowered their price it's seeming like the best way to go. You'd maybe save 1-200 dollars buying everything yourself. I plan on purchasing their "kit" and hopefully make mid 700s on E85.

Well the price of those kits is one of the things holding me back. Glad to hear the ECS kit price was lowered, so I may consider it now. Thanks for the information to all and I'm going to take a look at turbotuner20v thread.
