BOV Options - Tial Q, TurboSmart?
I know this topic has been beat for a while and I read every old thread about which one to get.
I am looking at a TurboSmart 52mm. Do any of you run that or the Tial Q or any other bov's? I currently have the Tial QR connected to the lower outlet of the intercooler and I love the sound but it is still just a little too quiet for me.
Running the Novi 1500.
Thanks!
Here is what mine currently sounds like:

I have a tial q on mine. I think it sounds pretty good. Blower is a v3si with a 3.8" pulley, so I'm not really moving a ton of air.
I do get that 'street sweeper' sound over 2500 rpm or so that gets a bit loud, but below that, my exhaust is loud enough that I can't really hear the bov noise unless I drive past something to reflect the sound (a wall, another vehicle, etc).

Maybe I will go with the Tial Q. I can just pop the QR off and put the Q on with out any tuning, correct?

I have a Procharger big red on mine and the thing is LOUD lol. It sounds like the Q so of you want to be heard get that one since it will be an easy swap with already running the Tial.
On another note I'm fairly sure I drove passed you a month or so ago on Bel-air road by Silver Spring Mining company on one of the nicer Sunday afternoons we had. I was in a CRM GS with black Forgelines.

I'm in Essex/Whitemarsh area. I like to make the big loop through Bel Air, shoot across to Harford Rd for the bends, then past lochraven reservoir.

Small world. I just left White Marsh Mall about 5 minutes ago. I'm sure I'll see you around now that the weather is consistently nice.

On a SC setup, they are bypass valves. You have to be able to vent the air the blower is moving when not at WOT. A big blower moving 1200+rwhp of air, moves a ton. Car makes 600+rwhp at 2500rpm, so that 600rwhp has to go somewhere, and that is out the bypass valves. 1 tial Q is not nearly enough to vent.
