Default boost sucks, need advice

After install my p1sc1 with slp 25% underdrive harmonic balancer something is going wrong with the boost

procharger pulley size is 3,85
balancer -25%
belt gates 6pk 2213

belt tightened strongly

what is it? is it slippage or boost leak?

Last thing you want with that blower is an underdrive damper. 25%..... probably slipping like crazy.....

25% under drive pulley with a supercharger...

Of course it's going to slip, at best.

You need to change the balancer, bottom line. It's less surface area = belt slips, and it's spinning slower so the blower is spinning slower. Add those together and this is what you get.

Log boost and see if its making approx. what it should. If belt is slipping a lot I don't think there is a fix without changing that damper. Maybe a bigger blower pulley but I am not sure really.

I use an ATI 8% overdrive, but there are a few choices. That is just my preference.

I'm using Summit C2501. It's a standard diameter but lower cost, ~$200. ATI is a nicer unit and the cost shows it.

you'll need a bigger balancer for sure imo, I would just call ECS or A&A, perhaps you can just do the flip/direct drive and that would work? no idea but that one realcanuk recommends looks great

That is it BUT it is only 6 ribs in Corvette. The other 2 ribs cannot be used on C5/C6

It has been fine for me but I'm running an ECS setup so it's not apples to apples.

Videos are dead.

A 3.85 with that crank pulley is a 4.81 pulley... even if it's not slipping, I'm sure it's weak with that smaller blower.

Looks like the tensioner bolt is bent too, or is that just the pictures? I've seen that bend more than once. Procharger will tell you how you installed it incorrectly and a bunch of stuff like that. Make sure that isn't bent and the tensioner is working correctly.

Tensioner works great, previous bolt was 9cm dia, I made this one new 12cm dia, to be stronger

Still looks bent. Which means it is over tightened which damages the system.
