Default fuel pressure sending unit

what fuel pressure sending units are you guys using off the fuel rail?

I think my fuel pump is starting to give up the ghost. wide band is showing it going really lean at times. starts running rough and surging. I still have my ECS stage 1 fuel system and Alki kit to install. Just been too hot. Now this problem has popped up and I need to monitor fuel pressure before I go installing fuel system upgrades and cover up a failing fuel pump.

Hot or not, I gotta figure this out before I beat on the car anymore.

Will screw onto Schrader valve. I know a few people running it. I'm running a different version but same basic sensor.

I'm using this one on mine. 1/8 NPT though, I think that's what it actually is. I always think they're 1/4 but they're 1/8

Its 1/8" NPT. The aeroforce sensors are not know for reliability, so might order that. Then again I never look at or care about FP anymore really, so might hold off and just plug it.

Never had a problem with mine yet. I seem to remember something about if you unplug the gauge or HPT while it's still powered it screws them up. That was with early ones. I believe they fixed that at some point.

May I ask why the pressure sending unit? Whu not an analog in line gauge just before the rails?

Because I want to see pressure on my gauge inside the car and also in hptuners when logging.

Yep, gauge on the rail just allows you to set base pressure, it doesn't help once the car is moving. I rather be able to see it on the gauge or HP tuners, then again I think FP is far over rated if you have an AFR gauge.

I have no idea how long my sensor has been dead, because I never actually watch it. Don't even have FP displayed on the dash.
