Lol, I was under the assumption 8 rib or more requires direct drive....

I would have left the stock dampener and pinned it. Save all that money on injectors and the IW for down the road. ID1000's will work with E85 but aren't meant for it.
I'd see if you can get a refund. If you can't, see if you can swap out 6 rib for a 10% overdrive 8 rib. That's really all you will ever need unless you push the limits of a YSI. Mine doesn't slip with a 2.85, but some do.

Chris at ECS is swapping it for an 8 rib OD.
I have no intention of taking this car past 800 rwhp.

This was / is a good read.
I'm looking to change over to ID injectors. My question is, What size do I need and or what size should I get?
Car:LS7 , forged with 10.3 cpr. ECS-1500, Alky dual meth, BTR spec blower cam, 1-7/8 LT with no cats. Street car, Not much track use. Few times a year.
Car is at 748 RWHP on a mustang dyno. I'm not looking to add any more power. I want to clean up the low speed driving. 5MPH to 45mph gears 1-4. 1,200 to 2,000 rpm range. Anything over 50mph or 5th/6th gear is very clean and smooth. As smooth as it was stock. I feel the driveabilty is really good for a built ,camed car. The cam is very mild as I requested. I do get a little surge or spudder in th 0- 45mph range.
I have Siemens deka 80's and after reading this, If I can improve my lower end even more with better injectors then it is worth it to me. I know I will have to have the car tuned again but that's fine. It will make the car even more enjoyable.
So my question would be, what side ID's would I be looking for?

Tuned a stock ls3 with id1700's and it idles like stock or better so don't have to worry about it too terribly much.
If running e85 ever then go bigger now..
