Hard Starting

Hard Starting
2008 ECS 1500 with Meth injection. Modded about 1k miles ago.
When hot I have a problem starting the car it sometimes starts and just dies other times it starts and has a low idle and struggles then clears up.
Once it cranked for about 30sec then finally started but was chocking then cleared up. Once it gets going it runs great. Also no check engine light. Any ideas?

Try this and see if it clears it up.
Dis arm the meth and drain the tank or remove the line and cap it. Drive the car and let it get hot, just stay out of boost!!!! Try and see if you can get the car to still have a hard start.
I also just had the same issue. It was adjusted out in the tune. He had to pull some fuel at high temp start up. (or something like that as I'm not a tuner)
Then I changed up a size on the pulley while at the dyno. When pulling the charge pipe I had some raw meth in the intake tube. I think it may be meth leaking into the intake from the hot under the hood temps causing an over rich condition at hot start. I have the single large check valve mid line. I need to do the same and remove the meth from the system and see I have to have the tune set back if it becomes to lean. I didn't have the issue until I added the 2nd nozzle. I removed the small at the tip check valve and went to the single large one mid line by the large filter. The lines may be bleeding into the intake causing this.
Could be a long shot but I'm not going to rule it out
We don't need a fire.....

My hunch is it old school vapor lock. I knew a couple of guys in Colorado that had the same issue. Only happened when it was hot outside and they shut off the car after at least a 20-30 mile drive and it sat for 30 to 90 minutes or so. If they left the hood opened it didn't happen.
Heat soak causes it IMO.
Now, I will freely admit I know very little about these cars and the superchargers. But I seen vapor lock on cars in the 60's and 70's and the condition acts the same way. Doesn't seem like it should happen in fuel injection cars but results are very similar.
Now you experts can tell me why I am wrong

I tested it at hot and cold and the only time it happened was when it sat hot for over 30min. If I turned it off and try to start it immediately it started right up, even after 10 min sitting she fired right up.

There are tables that adjust fueling on restart for about that time.
This is a very common thing that a LOT of tuners miss, because they just slap it on a dyno, do WOT, make sure it idles, and send people on their way, then blame starter heat soak, or any number of dumb things on it.

And it only takes 30 mins or so to verify it.
It's all about the money.
