Overheating 07 c6 base with ds1 procharger
I have an 07 that I put a ds1 procharger on and all the odds and ends. Phadt headers, dewits radiator, the pro charger is intercooled and a mild cam. All done by Kateck but I can't get them to look at it until September sometime. Problem is on highway temperature stays consistent around 200 but as soon as I'm in traffic it skyrockets to ac shutdown and engine overhead. It's a 6 speed. The car is at the dealership I was hoping it was something simple. They can't find anything wrong with it. No codes nothing. This just started happening this year about two weeks after sitting from its last drive. It's been fine for at least 4 years and nothing has been done to it since. Fan is running.
Any ideas? I hate that it's at the dealer all they know how to do is read codes.

Clean radiator and condensor. Make sure fluid is flushed and burped. Look at upgrading cooling system.

Update dealer flushed Dewits radiator this am and took it for a test drive and said temps stayed between 220 and 240. My car has never been that high since I put the procharger on it. Might hit 220 in heavy traffic but normally around 190 to 200. So I'm going to to pick car up today or tomorrow expecting it to overheat before I get home. Then might try jashmores post. Looks pretty intense thought but I'd like to drive the car this summer.

Have you at least checked the fan connector and controller to make sure nothing is fried? Just the fact that the fan is spinning doesn't mean it's going as fast as it should be

Make sure the ducting is keeping air from escaping around the coolers. Is the front bumper opened up? I sealed the bottom feed and opened up the front feed. It keeps the coolers cleaner. I also like UNREAL's cut front support for opening the frontal area on the coolers. I'll be following that this winter with rollbar tubing

I went through very similar issues with my F1X Z06, got it down to cruise under 200 degrees but making some more changes in 2 weeks with a E85 Set up to try and get back in the 180's where I was on the P1SC. I have done just about every mod recommended in this forum lol

No reason to be in the 180's.

Used to be around 188 cruising with the eforce. With the YSI it's 192-194 which is fine. Odd thing is the temp is the same if it's 70 ambient or 90 and humid.

I have the same problem since getting my A&A kit on there. I had a Z51 car so I had to get the dewits radiator and I can't run the AC in traffic. When the AC is off I don't get above 220 in traffic. I was told this is a problem that occurs with quite a few cars. My first step is to get a vented hood to release the heat from the engine. I should have had mine on by now but I had to wait 2 months for a hood then it was defective and I'm still waiting for the replacement. I will let you know once I get my hood on how much that helps.

Vented hood barely makes a difference. Read the 1000 cooling threads where it has been outlined time and time again how to address heat issues with a blower and then ask specific questions if needed.
