Default Pulley Combo Question

Going with Vortech T-trim on LS3 Cammed Grand Sport with headers and off road x, and wanting to know when I go with the 10% od pulley and 3.8 upper pulley, will it make 12 lbs of boost, or do I need to go with a 3.6 upper? I am shooting for 12lbs.
Thanks!

Adjust your cam and heads to hit 12psi.

Boost doesn't mean anything. 5 or 20 doesn't matter. How much power do you want?

Well with A6, I figured it would take 12lbs of boost to get to 650ish or a little more..With meth of course...

Depends on headers, cam, elevation, weather, compression, gauge your reading it with, air filter, how dirty the airfilter is, etc etc.

So the question to ask is "i have an automatic grandsport with XXX cam, headers, etc etc, and want to make ~650rwhp, what pulley setup do I need to make that power". If it is at 3psi or 20psi is irrelevant.

I am on the same boat..
I have a LS2 M6, Kook headers, no cats deleted, Mild Comp cam, Billy Boat PRT exhaust system, Supercharger Magnuson TVS2300...etc...It Dyno 600whp 600tq on Mustang Dyno that for what i know it reads 10/15% less than a DynoJet.

My question is what pulleys can i change (what size) (who makes them?) to make more boost on the SC i have the "stock" pulleys that come with the SC kit. It was tuned at 5/6 lbs of boost with a conservative tune by Jeremy @Horse Power Sales Florida.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

M6 GS here with ecs 1500 maxed out with 3.33 upper (8ribs size) and a 10% OD harmonic
KOOKS 2'' primaries and catless, meth and stage fuel. north of 750whp i think around 16psi peak but its irrevelant! The more effience you re the less boost you'll read! on the same pulley setup of course!

You're a good candidate to swap the rear pulleys side to side. That will convert the supercharger from underdriven to overdriven. Then buy you a 3.8" pulley for the front. Should put you @ 10 to 11psi the way you're configured and should give you a nice bump in HP and TQ. With the big front pulley and a correct sized belt, you shouldn't have any trouble with belt slip.

You can get genuine Maggy pulleys from superchargerconnection dot com or aftermarket pulleys from pulleyboys dot com.

Make sure your fuel delivery is up to the task. Fuel injectors as well as fuel pump may be too light for the job. For sure, get it re-tuned after you up the boost.

Ask the kit maker. A&A can give you the pulley sizes you need. That is why they are there, to support their kits.

Or ask the vendor you bought it from.

I called A&A yesterday and should be around 12lbs of boost with the 3.6 upper and 10% OD. This will be the first centri blower I have ever run, so I am excited to see how she runs!

Fwiw, my cammed, header GS sees around 11.5 psi with a 3.6" and OEM balancer. With the 10%OD I can see yours making 13-14 psi. You will love it!

I am getting both pullies, 3.6 and 3.8, so I wonder if I should keep around 12lbs.... Running 93 and meth only..

For the last time, who the hell cares about boost. 12lbs, 10lbs, who cares? Put a pulley on, dyno, if you want more power go smaller. Its as simple as that.

Local made 1100+ yesterday through a big stall auto on 14psi yesterday.
