The pulley comes by default with the ecs kits, unless something else is requested.

V3 Si maxes out with the 3.4 pulley and stock balancer at 6500-6600rpm. So no you shouldn't run the 10% od balancer with a 3.4 pulley, unless you plan on shifting around 6000rpm.

Actually the Si max out at around 55k if not lower. I was maxing my Ti with the 3.25 pulley and a TF balancer which is 7.54" when turning to 6,800 rpms. It was over 60k.
I went up to a 3.6 pulley, removed the restrictor and the IATs went down and boost peaked at 12 while reaching about 53k on the blower at 6,800 rpms.

Ti is very different from Si
V3 Si specs
Max rpm of the blower is 52,000rpm

Impellar speed calculator
7.5" crank pulley at 6500rpm engine speed and 3.4" pulley gives 51,617rpm impellar speed.

I misread your post lol It was too early for me to function. For whatever reason I thought you said that the Si maxed out at 65-66k rpms!

Btw, the stock balancer in our cars is not 7.5 more like 7.25. Several shops have confirmed this.

WESTFREESTYLE is a manual (dry sump) GS like mine, which uses the LS7 balancer. According to ATI, stock LS7/LS3 dry sump with AC is 7.65".

I didn't know the balancer of those dry sump engines was different. I stand corrected then. So not all C6s have the same size balancer. Wonder what is the size on the LS9. Thank you for sharing that info.
