Default 2005 LS2 and E85

I am wondering what the fuel system requirements for an LS2 to hit around 650 RWHP.

Right now I am at 559. I have 60 lb injectors, Racetronix fuel pump hotwire and also a KB Boost A Pump.

I asked my tuner if I added 80/85 lb injectors, could I use E85 and he said no. Then I asked if I added 100 lb injectors and a Z06 fuel pump and he still says not enough fuel system

You really need a second pump. Just buy 95lb. 1000cc injectors and be done.

What fuel system would you want if you were making 850rwhp on gas? It's pretty much the same thing.

Simplest solution is some ID1000's and fuel system wise I think an ECS stage 1 would get you there. And you'll want to add flex fuel sensor of course.

I'm going to do a write up sooner or later that lists out all the part numbers needed to do a full return system on one of these for about as cheap as it can be done while still using PTFE hose, etc.

You need a few pieces. You will need aux fuel pump rated for use with e85, ID850's or ID1000's, flex fuel sensor kit and a good tuner.

Contact dsx tuning for your flex fuel parts.

When I was in your spot, I went from basically your setup to a big single pump (Eliminator), big lines, dsx pump controller, and ID1000's.

Can the 450 pump just be installed in the factory bucket, or do I need a new regulator and return line??????

It can, I ran that exact setup and maxed out around 650-675

Default I changed everything to run E85

I installed Racetronix dual 340lph pumps(2nd pump on 7psi hobbs switch) -8an Teflon feed, -6an Teflon return, racetronix E85 regulator set at 60psi, larger fuel rails, dedicated motorsports flex fuel sensor kit, and 127lb(1300cc) injectors...

A&A t-trim at 9 psi and flex fuel sensor reading 57% ethanol(some 91 still in tank) netted 722rwhp on the dyno...

Now im at 11psi and should have 70-75% ethanol(winter grade E85) which should be around 750rwhp...

My buddy has the fore triple pump kit and likes it.

ECS kit that doesn't require dropping the tanks looks like a much easier way to go if your willing to gamble with factory pump lasting on ethanol...

We have also dropped the pricing on our fuel systems fairly substantially, along with also sending all the fuel lines pre made ready to install.

The factory fuel pump is E85 compatible since they are often used in flex fuel cars, and our fuel system is also E85 compatible.

The stg 1 system will fit your needs just fine, but if you up the power later then building on our system is simply add on's, no wasted money unless you are really stepping it up and need a larger pump.
