It was probably the way it was installed. Thought it was a walbro but it was mounted to the top frame in front of the driver side tank and activated using an extended fuel controller (MAP). When I hit the boost range it would sound like an impact wrench stripping. It was loud enough where when I would get on it people in cars next to me would ask what's wrong with my motor . I'm sure it was specific to my situation and activation method.

True thing that. But for us little guys with less than 700hp, I doubt if we'll ever need a return system, although I've always preferred that style, even with a carb/nitrous setup.
How do you have yours set up Jody? Are you stil running the factory pump in conjunction with the external pump? If so, did you have to drop the tanks to do anything internally?

I'll make a few and see if they sell. Anybody?

I'm down! Send me a pm with price and possibly a list of the fittings, line, etc I would need.

I dont want to do a return style though. I like how your set up looks. I just dont need e85 either since its barely available where I live.

Still running a Z06 pump and bap for normal driving. Then have dual external. ! comes on at 6psi and other at 12psi. Still haven't dropped tanks to install the blockoffs that are sitting in my garage. I refuse to drop them just for that. I will install them if needed for something else. System works fine without boost referencing.

Will the stock pump and other tank internals hold up to flex fuels if you just do an external set up? Do you remove the BAP when adding the external set up?

Some people say stock pump is fine with E85, some say it will eventually fail. Mine is fine so far but not that much time on corn yet

BAP can go either way. I took mine off (was fried) but some leave them on

I run 450 in tank and 044 external. I had two brand new account Delco z06 pumps fail (one pump seized the other was a sending unit issue). I don't trust the factory stuff at all. I had fuel pressure drop to 20psi on the dyno at 10psi of boost with oem pump/sender and my ringlands exited the engine.
