I would just do the SC and cam together, Funny story, I called A&A and was in no financial shape to buy a SC and by the time i got off the phone last week i purchased one and ships in two days. I know A&A and ECS have blower cams but i have not done a cam yet myself so hopefully some people will chime in

i was thinking on buying this one..
they said that
"This camshaft was desgined for boost engines, but typical gains of approximately 70 rear wheel horsepower can be seen on stock LS3 cars without a supercharger! These power gains make this camshaft a great option for people wanting to do a camshaft now & add a supercharger later on down the road!"

I went with this.

Regarding the driveability comments, specifically toward that "stage 3" cam. Much of that can be handled in the tune. It takes time to get right and it's quite a bit of work for the tuner, but it can be tuned to be easy to drive.

At the very least pin the balancer when you do the cam. That is the biggest PITA part of a supercharger install, so having that done will make the SC install easy

Best advice in this thread so far. It's also the right time to put a good balancer on. So much of the blower install is spent pulling that rack.

So i when i called andy and told him that i was planning on doing the SC and a cam he recommended a stage 1 cam. The one your looking at is stage 3 (which I'm sure would be nasty as hell), but i think there are tradeoffs, driveability, idle, etc, I'm really not a cam guy but i would call ECS or A&A and just describe where your car is at now and then where you want it to be. but I'm sure Texas Speed shop knows there stuff too. Id wait for more experienced members to chime in

There should just be a generic sticky at the top for cam advice that says
"contact Pat G, Brian Tooley, Martin@Tick, or custom cam person of your choice".
Do the Pat G form and let him spec your cam. Never heard of a single customer that didn't love the results and wasn't happy. Every car he specs for runs hard.
