Need yalls advice on my move coming up
I'm moving from San Antonio in December and need some advice on a few things.
Car is Twin turbo setup on a 427 making around 1300@22lbs.
Q1. DA here last night was about 1547 and in Abilene was about 2118. I'm told in the summer months it will get to about 4900 and 105+ temps. Would y'all advise a retune when I get there? Some say I do some say I don't. Please give more than just a yes or no. Thanks in advance.
Q2. E85 is an hour away and I was going to put flex fuel on car until I was just informed by the locals that the 93 is suspect there and a lot of cars have knock using "93" there. The E85 an hour away is regularly tested and is consistent. Go with a barrel in garage? How long can you store it?

Flex Fuel for lower power on 93 and Meth, and E85 in a couple of barrels for serious entertainment. I would think you could make 1000-1100 pretty safely like that I know I have. On the 93 comment. I went and asked question to the station owners that were near me and asked if there 93 was REALLY 93. I said I wasn't asking to get anyone in trouble but me car needed the real deal, and if there's wasn't they could just say they weren't sure or something and I'd keep looking etc... But I filed up from those two stations and it kept me out of trouble. Of course there's no guarantees on any of the info, but you could ask around and see if you can get a feel for the 93 and how confident you'd feel with it etc...

Consider dump the E85, re-tune and get a solid methanol injection system that turns on when it see boost. Will save you from all that runnin around. my .02

Ran ~1100rwhp on 91+meth for years. Zero issues. Just make sure your meth system is well maintained.
Then ran MS109 when wanting to play. Was easier to get than e85, but now e50 is all over here so I just do the flex fuel+meth.
