It all depends on how aggressive you go with the timing on your tune. Meth and higher octane race fuels allow you to run more timing since they basically prevent knock. Hence insurance. C5R timing chain is also a smart move and is affordable. These are all supporting mods so that your setup lasts as long as possible.

What size turbos did you get with the kit? Cubic inch of your motor? Manual or auto trans? Most twin turbo kits can easily hit 700whp.

You can easily hit 700whp with those turbos and on a 427. However, like you already mentioned, blowing the motor up. LOL. Unless you are running her on meth, E85 or another form of higher octane fuel, the LS7 doesn't handle boost well. Believe me, I know from experience. Preventing knock by running a better fuel and staying very conservative on the tune/timing is pretty much the only saving grace for a boosted LS7. With that said, I have seen a number of 700-740whp LS7's hold up for a long time but they run meth or E85 etc...Luckily you are running bigger turbos so you can make more power with less PSI hence, a more conservative tune and still hit good power numbers.

If you're going meth I'd go with Alky Control. Julio over there is a great guy and their systems are on point.

Alky control is the only way to go when it comes to Meth kits.
