Default Help: Best OEM 2 or 3 bar Map sensor for LS7 Intake Manifold?

Does anybody have a gm part number for a map sensor that would be plug and play compatible for my ls7 intake manifold thats able to read at least 20 psi?

Hmm I used the Duramax sensor 12623671. Just adjust the offset and worked great for me. I know some had issues with the knock off's but the delco ones I've been using work well for me multiple times.

12623671 looks like the right design to me, as long as you're not going over 15psi boost.

I would just run the DSX 2.5 bar.

Wrong size for LS7 intake but from what I recall you can enlarge the hole slightly and make it work

LS7 uses an LS2 style MAP sensor for whatever reason

Gotcha thanks. DSX map sensor sounds like the way to go in that case.

Yeah, might as well. That part number for 2 bar sensor isn't much cheaper (which is kind of dumb given how cheap the 1 bar sensors are..) so might as well buy a DSX one

Yeah I don't think your looking at it right that is a 3.3Bar sensor and I used it with the 2.5bar HPT configuration over 24lbs of boost. And I paid @ $60 locally not that price should be a factor, just saying it works well.

Yeah, you're right.. I thought it was the same as the Cobalt 2 bar sensor. I think every time I respond to a MAP sensor thread I mess something up

The dsx sensor should be PNP, minus adjusting the tune of course.

All require tune changes. As far as fitting there's at least 1 bar, 2 bar and dsx 2.5 bar that you can use

Does anyone know if DSX stopped selling the 2.5 bar sensor? The link above is broken and I couldn't find anything on his site. I shot him a PM asking as well.

Just call them they should be able to order the 2.5 sensor.

I had my c5z at their shop and they installed a 2.5 bar sensor in it to run SD mode.

Called them up and no longer selling as it seemed it was tedious and not worth the effort.

So I guess my next question is what other PNP options exist for an '07 Z06?

They aren't just bought. I have to physically make them. The problem is that finding cores is extremely difficult nowadays (well, finding them cheap at least). I can still do them if you send me a core.

No biggie, I'll just run the Cobalt sensor for the time being. Thanks for the reply
