Keep the tank. You may not need it but I use it on my car. I like that it has a better seal and holds more methanol. Me and Slo-Poc have zero issues with ours.
Where did you get the carbon pieces from?

Do you guys have it tied into the washer tank or is it your sole meth tank?
Side skirts and spoiler came from C7carbon. I couldn't justify the price for full carbon pieces on these shitty Louisiana roads. It seems the majority of people have been happy with c7 so I decided to give them a shot.

It's our sole meth tank now. The WW units kept leaking and didn't seal properly.
I have a APR full carbon ZR1 style spoiler. Too scared to get the splitter and side skirts. He got the C7 carbon pieces for his car though.

Hmm ok. It won't hurt to keep it, it's certainly not worth much with a bad pump. I guess I'll see how this tank does and may look into better sealing the suction right now if that's the problem area.
I have the extended zr1 spoiler coming. I want to order the front splitter as well but that will wait until the car is running again. I ordered these pieces before the engine was hurt... I see some other c6 guys around here are running the splitters and sidekirts so hopefully I'll be ok, especially considering I only drive it a couple times a week.

I never had an issue with my WW tank leaking and prefer to keep methanol out of passenger compartment so I don't get caught on fire Talladega nights style in my underwear. but lots of people run it that way too no issues.
I plan to just spray my brass nozzles with plasti dip next time i have them apart.

I'm leaving it out for now. I may decide to put it back in later. Think I'll put some sealant on the suction fitting just to be safe.

A few updates:
After having some valve train parts held up from the supplier for weeks, my long block is finally assembled and back in my possession. Shoutout to LME for a 2 week turnaround and great service with the shortblock, and also to Justin at Asylum Motorsports for assembling the long block.
So far this week I've gotten the Fore components in the tanks and back in the car. I plan to have the drivetrain back in this weekend.

Sucks to have to hide most of this badass Fore stuff. I went with the L4 system w/ dual walbro 450s. ID1300s. -10 feed and -8 return. Setup for flex fuel.
Passenger tank regulator plug.
A tight fit, but it wasn't too bad mounting the second pump inside the tank. The biggest pain of the whole thing was removing the old hanger assembly. It came apart on me and made for a fun removal.

Thank you. The engine is just stock cubes and stock forged crank, Callie's rods and diamond pistons. 10-1 CR and rated at 900-1000whp. I opted to leave the heads alone for now and I know several guys making 800-1k on them. I may put on some aftermarket heads down the road but we'll see.

I don't think I had decided on E85 when the engine was spec'd and I'm sure there's a chance it won't be on E 100% of the time. That said, if and when I ever decide to do heads I'll probably bump it up some.
