Default A&A Blacked Out Supercharger Kit

I picked up my 2006 Z yesterday at Speed Inc. They installed the blacked out A&A Si unit with the V3 upgrade. I just wanted to share a couple photos of the installed kit, in case some folks haven't seen the blacked out version. I really like the subtle and stealthy appearance. And the performance gains...

Blacked out looks great, especially with the red covers. I drove A&A Andy's SC'd Z06 and it was a bomb!

So what are the details? What did it dyno, what size pulley, what boost, any other mods like meth or cam, etc? Post a dyno vid if you have one.

Thanks. It's definitely rowdy. Sort of like a gorilla screaming in your ear and slapping you on the back... Here are the basics.

2006 C6Z
A&A V-Si kit
OEM heads w/ upgraded guides/valves/springs
Speed Inc street cam
Kooks 2" long tubes, 3" catted X-pipe and B&B Fusions
701/592 @ 7 psi on 93 octane

Wow! That blacked out head unit is sick!!

I'm about to buy an A&A kit with the V3 Ti Trim for my 08' Coupe!! It's cam only as well! Not a LS7, but still hoping for quality power!

Nice looking kit for sure!!

Are those numbers to the rear wheels? And why is there such a large spread between HP/TQ numbers? How could you bring up the TQ numbers with a Supercharger kit?

Yes, rear wheel numbers. Not sure on your other two questions. Feels great behind the wheel.

Only problem with the blacked out SC is it makes you start looking at that alternator and you begin considering $500 black billet ones, not to mention the bracket.

Someone said it's good to have a really stout alternator so you know your upgraded fuel system always has plenty of power, so there's that.

Great, now I'm buying an alternator. And starter.

Thanks for messing with the guy with OCD...

I am also doing a A&A V3 TI trim to my base 08 cam only car. Speed inc is doing the install in March. I already bought the supercharger kit from A&A.
