Curious to know what these diff's are holding for power and for how long? I never track the car....

I don't know what power level but I've seen one explode on launch at the track. Car looked pretty stock. The guy was excited because he was trying drag radials for the first time.
Basically if you hook hard, it's at risk.

the tires spinning are the fusible link for not breaking the differential.if the car dead hooks or wheel hops you may break the differential.never broke mine in 10 years and 78,000 miles using drag radials going 1.60's 60ft's but did upgrade to ZO6 differential last year.automatic car though.I put on about 700 miles at 650rwhp before the upgraded differential.didn't want to push my luck

650hp 2000k miles then cracked like a egg with a bit of wheel hop pulling out one night from a meet. Trans diff brace saved trans though. Upgraded trans and diff after that to a ZR1 tr6060 MH3 and Diff no more problems.

Not sure if I just want to replace diff now or just wait and see....then if it breaks do full z06 setup...? Are the 2005 trans/diff worth anything if I wanted to sell them to help fund upgrade?

A corvette shop in Denver has a pile of broke 05' rear diffs out back...
REPLACE IT AS SOON AS YOU CAN AFFORD TO!!!

they will be worth something if you don't break them first and I would think you may be able to get $1,000.+ for the pair or drive it till something breaks

Mine's still surviving but I pretty much never do hard launches in 1st
Not sure on rwhp, I'm at around 13psi of boost, E85 blah blah blah so should be decent power

Buddy Lynn had a D1SC on his 05. Put drag radials on and boom. First or 2nd pull and it scattered all over the street. Car was in the ~600rwhp range.
