Much better. As RPMs go up the belt stretches and that tensioner takes up the slack. Before it would probably move the 1/4", and then you lose tension on the belt, causing your problem. Now it can maintain tension.

now is it going to stretch at all and have to tighten the manual one more?

Belts always stretch. So yes, as it stretches you probably have to adjust the manual tensioner, especially if it is a new belt.

i tried to get a 897 on wasnt happening.. i did how ever find a dayco belt which is .24inchs shorter not sure if its worth trying or not. I got the manual tensioner at roughly 85% right now.. and the auto is id say between 1 and 2 o clock..

You can put a ratchet on the spring loaded tensioner and see if it's as far "open" as it'll go or not. I usually try to set the manual tensioner so that the spring loaded one is open all the way but I don't force the manual tensioner any further than that.
Just don't crank on the square nut on the spring loaded tensioner too much or it'll strip out
I'd try what you've got on there and then re-check it after some miles and see how much it's stretched. If you've got a little bit of adjustment left on the manual one you should be able to take up a little bit of stretch with that still if needed

Is there any real risk in taking out any of the bearings on the accessories from over tightening the belt? I run mine tight but I know there is room to add another 10 to 15% more tension no problem.

There is already a lot of stress on the bearings. I would not over tighten the belt.

Only way to "overtighten" is to max out the spring tensioner, then keep adding more and more. Otherwise tension is just controlled by the spring tensioner.
Yes, all your accessories are under more load if you don't have a DD. One of the downsides to a blower setup.

One of the reason an OEM blower setup will run on a separate belt then the rest of the accessories.

Looks much better now, make sure your tune is finalized after this, it will need more fuel up top with the added boost.
We have a belt guide on our web site for future use.

Are you sure you can't get the next size down? It should be a royal pain in the ***, with lots of cussing/swearing/blood.
