Default Novi 1500 help

I bought a novi 1500 ecs kit. I also bought an ati balancer, a ls9 map sensor and a meth kit. I am just looking for any suggestions on what else I may need before installation by my local speed shop. Thanks

ATI makes a pin kit for their balancer. ECS supplies a pin kit with their kit, but it is designed for a stock balancer. The ECS pin kit drills through the front of the crank, where as an ATI pin kit drills perpendicular to the crank, like a key-way would. The pin kit takes all the guess work out of it. I used an ATI pin kit when installing my ATI balancer.

The Ecs kit is like a more like a key way. The ATI pictured reminds me of a set screw.

The ECS should come with a guide that is bolted to the front of the crank. Just drill to depth and knock the pin in.

I wouldn't see why the ECS guide couldn't be used with any balancer.

Yes if you purchased a complete kit you will be good. As long as the shop doing the install knows what they are doing. Be careful with local shops. Especially if they are tuning.
