Default fuel rail test port core removal

Is it nesasary to buy a core removing tool ? Can it be removed by any other method ? Last step in my install of nitrous. If I do need one, where can it be purchased ? Thanks....Oh, forgot it's a 06 LS2

Same tool that removes the valve from a valve stem in a tire. Should be able to get it at an autoparts store.

I got mine at a bicycle store for less than $2.00

The rail could be under pressure so be careful when remove it. If you depress the tool into the core it will relieve. You may want to have a small towel beneath it to catch any fuel that's in the rail when you remove it.
