Twin disk MONSTER
So I'm looking into getting a twin disk for my car I'm leaning on going with a monster clutch with flywheel upgrade etc the price seems to be tad cheaper if not on par with others just curious how's the clutch feel how's the chatter and how does it grip and hold up on power and racing and daily driver use?
Other choice was maybe an McLeod rxt but i didn't see a option on there site for flywheels etc...

I had the sc put in my c5 and will know shortly how it feels with 650-700hp. Driving it for 500 miles with 400hp it chatters in idle like other twin discs I've heard and slightly sometimes when launching. I didn't try launching it hard until the 500 mile mark but it held high rpms launches on a dr fine. It engages very quickly and it took awhile to get used to the change from stock.

Strongly look at mantics. Best clutch out there.

How did you set up the clutch stop?
How's the chatter? Grip? Daily abuse?

I assume it'll be fine on low boost but once I uncork the ysi I'll see how much it can handle. If it fades I'll probably go mantic triple like others are mentioning.

Mantic and be done.

How's the grip and chatter and feel? Also what you do for a stop?
Nice thank you
Who y'all go with to buy a mantic?

ECS or CPR.
My mantic twin lasted 20k+ miles at 1100+rwhp. Drove like a dream, no issues. Now run the triple. No need for a stop or anything wierd. Just plain works.
Joe may have some in stock, if not ECS has great deals.

Monster LT1-S twin here. I've been happy with it. I didn't notice any rattle when I was running stock cam, I did notice a little bit after I changed the cam
That's not to say the Mantic twin isn't a really good clutch. Obviously it is.
My opinion is you'll be fine with either.
Not sure how much power I'm making. It's 13-14psi max, E85, blah blah blah. Still has Z06 manifolds/cats though so that's probably costing me some

no experience with mantic but i did not like the Mcleod and it did not last one dyno pull at 870whp. mantic triple now and best clutch i've ever had in a big hp car. very smooth and doing very well so far.
