Whats the max boost that can be made with a 1500sl and what size pulley would you need to make it?

On what setup? Stock LS3 with stock manifolds or LS7 with aftermarket heads and some 2" longtubes? Totally different boost numbers, yet roughly the same amount of airflow

Boost doesn't matter, airflow is what matters

It'll flow enough for 850rwhp is pretty much max, ~1200cfm

Same with pulley size. Depends on lower/slip/etc etc. You can max it out with a 3.3" or a 3.6" depending on setup.

3.125 with a stock balancer.

Made 12-13 psi on my 402.

Im a stock ls2 with stock balancer and not sure what size pulley. My boost gauge shows 15 now. Im planning on doing a ecs big blower cam and a 10% overdrive pulley. Not sure what size pulley I should go with.

You have the 3.25 pulley that comes with the kit. Sounds right with no restrictor.

You can calculate impeller speed.

Should I stay with the 3.25 or go with the 3.60? I have no idea how to determine what I need? Thats why all the questions.
